How do I resize an image to exact pixels?

Upload your image, type the width and height you need in pixels, and click Resize & Download. Turn the ratio lock off if you need an exact size that changes the proportions.

How do I resize a photo for Instagram?

Open the Presets tab and choose Instagram post (1080 × 1080), Instagram portrait (1080 × 1350) or Story / Reel (1080 × 1920). Crop to size (the default) trims the edges to the new shape; Keep whole photo keeps everything and adds a white or blurred border, or no border at all (the image then keeps its own shape).

Can I make a passport-size photo?

Yes, the Passport photo preset resizes to 35 × 45 mm (413 × 531 px at 300 dpi) and the US preset to 2 × 2 in (600 × 600 px). It sets the size only, so check your country’s rules for background and face position.

Will resizing reduce image quality?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp thanks to high-quality Lanczos resampling. Making it much larger than the original can look soft, because no new detail can be created.

How do I keep the aspect ratio?

In the Pixels tab, keep the lock between width and height on: when you change one, the other updates automatically. The Percentage tab always keeps the aspect ratio.

Which formats are supported?

You can resize JPG, PNG and WebP images and save the result in the original format or as JPG, PNG or WebP.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?
